COVID UPDATE

Dear Colleagues

We know that you are all doing a tremendous job supporting your teams and healthcare systems to cope with this unprecedented crisis.

  • Although the pandemic appears to be subsiding, it is clear that we are far from reaching normality. It is likely that even if the venues open again, there will be numerous difficulties with transportation and accommodation and is entirely unclear how high the cost of such arrangements will be.

  • In addition, this course had always had a strong community atmosphere and we always aimed to combine the very high educational content with a pleasant experience of interacting and networking with colleagues around the world. This is likely to be substantially affected in the current climate.

  • Last but not least, having any COVID-related incidents associated with the Course, involving either delegates or Faculty, is a risk we cannot accept as your safety is our top priority.

We have reached the difficult decision not to have the 2020 Course in London, but to run instead a one-day/12hour Masters' Worldwide Video Symposium, as our ninth annual instalment, on Monday, August 17, 2020, 9am - 9pm GMT (5 am - 5 pm EST). All previous registrations have been refunded. Much to our surprise, you kept registering throughout the pandemic.

  • The Masters' Worldwide Video Symposium will be completely free and open to pre-registered health-care professionals only.

  • The Masters' Symposium will feature most, if not all, world-class Faculty members and will be a tour-de-force of surgical anatomy; surgical techniques; masterclasses; seminars; discussions; and debates.

  • A link for registration will be sent to our subscribers. The number will be limited to maintain a high level of interaction in our Course.

  • The 12-hour final program will be published at least one month before the August 17th.

  • The rest of this website does not apply to the Masters' Worldwide Video Symposium. We kept is as a reminder that we will meet again, in London in August 2021.

Thank you again for your contributions and sacrifices during the pandemic and, importantly, your enthusiasm to constantly learn, even in these hard times! Stay well/stay safe!
